Liscombe Lodge Scrapbooking Retreat Part 2

I know I said I was going to live-blog this retreat, but the Internet service has been sketchy at best, so I'll just do an uber post right now :)

So after breakfast, the ladies got to work on their projects:

And Dejah did some demos:

And people shopped :)

Dawn taught her beach layout class:

And drew for door prizes!!

Here is the Instagram Mini-Album I chose as my project to complete this weekend. As of right now (just past midnight), I'm about halfway done!

This is the page layout Dejah did for Theresa. Seriously, the stuff that comes out of this girl's mind amazes me! Gorgeous!

I got to the eBosser for the first time and I didn't break it!! Yay me!

I made these paw prints with it:

And Dejah taught her scrapbook class :)

Then it was time for supper:

After supper was time for make n takes:

And I guarded the 'store' while Dejah went upstairs to the prize draws!

Here are some shots of some of the projects these amazing ladies have been creating. I'm so inspired!!

And that's it for tonight! I need some sleep!!! We'll be back at it bright & early :)

Nighty night!

Liscombe Lodge Scrapbooking Retreat 2013

Hello my darlings! I know it's been WAY too long since I've made a post, but I'm absolutely making up for it  this weekend!  My friend Dejah (and owner extraordinaire at www.CarouselRubberStamps.com) kindly invited me to be her assistant at the Liscomb Lodge Scrapbooking retreat this year!

I meant to start this yesterday, but we ended up leaving a little late and couldn't get the wifi sorted until about midnight last night (note to self: you have to actually connect to the hotel's wifi in order for it to work... Duurrrrrr)

So anyway, we're here!

This morning we actually slept in by accident (NOT our fault!! The beds here are the most comfortable I have ever slept in, and don't even get me started on the gigantic fluffy pillows...), so we rushed to get ready and I am currently having my buffet breakfast while looking out at the river. Yes, it IS amazing! But I should cut short here so Dejah can take her turn eating lol

I'll leave you with a pic or two :)

Play day!

Hey guys!
I know I missed posting last week, and I absolutely blame eBay! I was selling off the rest of my newer ponies and buyer questions kept me busy during most of my spare time. Now that those auctions are done, I have time again!
Today I'm down at the store working on my first Paper Bag Mini Album! I am OBSESSED with minis! They are so much fun and I am getting to use up a lot of my scrapbook paper hoard lol
I'll make sure to post pictures when it is all done.
In the meantime, take a look at my little mess of creativity, and my fuel for the day!

Class Preview: Wings & Things

Happy Sunday everyone!

This was a busy week!  I wanted to share with you the cards we will be making in my 'Wings & Things' class at Carousel Rubber Stamps in March.  It was nice to get in a springtime mood after all of this cold and ice and snow!

First card is the Bumblebee:

Second is the Butterfly:

And finally, the Ladybug:

Let me know what you think!  If you would like to take the class, please click the link above and register at Carousel :)

Blizzard = Craft Time!

We were hit by the Blizzard people are calling Nemo (Why Nemo?  I don't know.  It doesn't really strike fear in me, more like the urge to cuddle it.)  So I had quite a bit of time indoors this weekend and I finished an upcoming card class I will be teaching at Carousel in March (Pics to come!).  I also began researching some new projects, and oh boy, am I ever inspired right now!  I will share some pictures as soon as I do my next photoshoot and I promise to let you folks in the loop for my new project before anyone else ;)

In the meantime, here is what Oscar thinks of all this snow:

Finally! A video on YouTube!

So I know I have ABSOLUTELY been slacking on updates here, but Februray is apparently "Resolution Do-Over" Month, so I'm starting again.

I finally got around to uploading my first video to YouTube.  It's just a quick little video of Oscar playing in the snow, but I wanted to share and see how it worked on my blog.

And there it is! Don't forget to subscribe to my channel, I'll be doing some tutorials in the future.  And, of course, if you like my Blog, give me a follow :)
